Air Duct Cleaning

Regular cleaning of your air ducts can lead to a healthier lifestyle and a higher quality of life for you and your family.

Contaminates can be set in motion and distributed through your home when your heating or cooling system starts up. Dirt, food, bacteria, mold, allergens, dander, hair, rodents, feces, and bugs are some of the things we have removed from duct systems. Removal of harmful contaminates will keep your home as healthy as possible.

Air duct cleaning.

Not all Air Duct Cleaning companies are equal.

Before having your Air Ducts cleaned:

  • Ask For a license: Air duct cleaning is not regulated by the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, anyone with a vacuum and a brush can claim to be a specialist. Air Duct Cleaning should be performed by a licensed Heating & Air Conditioning company. Only a licensed HVAC contractor is qualified to service install and repair Heating & Air Conditioning systems.
  • Avoid Gimmicks: We see duct cleaning companies advertise to clean an entire house for $59.00 dollars. The EPA estimates that a proper air duct cleaning can cost between $400 and $1000.
  • References: Ask for references and check them. It’s a lot easier to get a bad reference than a good one. Check online and at the Better Business Bureau.
  • It’s a lot of work: Duct cleaning is very labor intensive. It takes a two man crew 3 to 8 hours to professionally clean a whole house.
  • Required Specialized Equipment: A brush attached to a drill or a canister vacuum is not going to clean your entire duct system. We use specialized equipment. Our high volume air compressor connects to several different air nozzles to efficiently remove and push debris through the ductwork to be collected by our powerful HEPA filtered vacuum.
